    Computation of Calibration Angle for Electronic Wind Direction Vane
    INPUT1 AngleActual [degrees] = = current angle that the anemometer is showing
    INPUT2 AngleWished [degrees] = = current angle you wish the anemometer to show
    INPUT3 BitOffsetOld [binary] = = current configuration value (first value in the configuration string…usualy = 2)
    OUTPUT BitOffsetNew [binary] = = replace current configuration value with this calculated value to obtain the desired angle(AngleWished)
    ORIGINAL CONFIGURATION VALUES as found in new anemometer
    2, 0, 0.45, -0.3, 193, 0.02848, 6.158, 0, 1000, 500, 12.8, 0, 0
    INSTRUCTIONS
    1. Mount the anemometer, then point the direction vane in a specific direction and note the angle value showing in Atmo. This value will go in field INPUT1.
    2. Field INPUT2 will be the actual direction the vane was pointing when you noted the angle value to go into INPUT1.
    _____North = 0
    _____East = 90
    _____South = 180
    _____West = 270
    _____...any arbitrary angle will work
    3. In Atmo 1.0 software
    _____Click Setup
    _____Open the Firmware Update Dialog
    _____Select sensor whose wind direction vane you want to update A, B, C or D
    _____Click Get until you see similar values to the following:
    ___________2, 0, 0.45, -0.3, 193, 0.02848, 6.158, 0, 1000, 500, 12.8, 0, 0
    _____The first value (in this case 2) is the wind vane calibration value (DO NOT MODIFY ANY OTHER VALUES)
    _____MAKE SURE the commas and periods do NOT get switched if your computer uses commas to delineate decimal points
    4. In INPUT3 field, input the 1st value of the number string obtained by clicking Get (in this case 2).
    5. The calculator should update the OUTPUT value with which you will replace the first value in the number string. Replace the first value of the number string (in this case 2) with the calculated OUTPUT value.
    6. Click Apply Correction and close the update firmware dialog and verify the anemometer is showing the correct wind direction value.
