Wind Influence on Reliable Weather Forecasts

Moisture rises and rain falls down to the ground. This is the basic mechanism of weather. Good understanding of this basic phenomenon and accurate observations including meteorological measurements are keys to reliable weather forecasts. Wind is one of the most unpredictable forces in nature. It brings with it changes in weather, clouds, rain, hail, and snow and also takes them away. Wind affects all meteorological phenomenon and is effected by them all. Wind can rise and fall on a whim. In recent years advances in computing power have given rise to very complex and detailed meteorological CFD models. Our understanding of the movement of air is better than ever and we are now able to model complex flows over small areas of terrain very accurately. Yet, the critical limitation that remains is the accuracy of boundary conditions that we input from meteorological measurements. The results of simulations can only be as accurate as the quality of inputs and boundary conditions from real world measurements. Thus it is very important for meteorological measurements and weather observations to maintain accuracy, and above all long-term measurement stability, consistency and traceability.

Rubbish in = rubbish out

Pick sensors that are stable over time and sensors made of quality components. It is our mission at BARANI DESIGN Technologies to create accurate sensors in an effort to make weather and wind energy observation as accurate as possible.
